Responsible design means advocating a more global community approach to design. It’s our responsibility as designers to search out companies, ideas, processes, and materials that help to lessen any negative impact on the world. We worked with the team at Altis to design this LED light bulb made from recycled aluminum. We looked at an architectural approach to a commodity item utilizing a technology that is up to 80% more efficient than traditional lighting.
