Every night, my phone lays haphazard by my bedside. Current docking solutions stand in stark contrast to the serentity of my bedroom. So we designed Perch. The team at Ashcraft Design wanted the fundamental nature of two elements intersecting each other to create an object of desire rather than an object of necessity. The beauty of glass slicing through a block of aluminum creates sculpture, an object to display. It invites you to display technology rather than hide. A pedestal to place your device on. This is an in house design study at the moment.
